Service Description

10-11:15a 8yrs and up 8 classes starting January 28th-March 25th Instructors: Briana Lazdale & Erica Larsen-Dockray Cost: $200 + $25 Material Fee  Class Description: Every other week we will focus on the arts where we will study artists and cultures who create art and artifacts in tandem with the earth. We will explore the existing flora and fauna on the site and their possibilities for creative expression including journal sketching, creating artistic spaces and "moments" within the site, using the different natural materials to create different art works and more. Alternate weeks will focus on our existence with and against the earth and how we can be good stewards of our planet. Practices of primitive and native cultures as well as modern day approaches will be explored.  Minimizing our impact on the environment and working with the earth’s abundance guides our weeks’ topics.
