ABOUT OUR PLAY ADVOCACY & EDUCATION
At SCV Adventure Play Foundation we strive to not only offer opportunities for self-directed play but to help and support other groups, organizations, and agencies as to support these opportunities as well. As awareness of the benefits of play in learning and in mental health expand, we want to be there to accelerate a shift in our overall cultural acceptance of self-directed play again. We are available to share the research, methods and histories already in place surrounding Adventure Playgrounds, Playwork, and Self-Directed Play to cultivate this movement.
We are available to visit your next meeting or event to share our love and support for the growing need to bring play back into our lives. We do interactive workshops, observational visits to Eureka Villa, presentations, panels, roundtable discussions and more. Please see our booking page for more information or contact us directly for a customized quote for your needs at

We often hold playwork workshops where we cover the basics of playworking and offer resources for anyone interested in getting familiar with its methods for working with children and or creating and holding a self-directed space.
These workshops are open to anyone and run about an hour and a half. There may be a small suggested donation to attend
