At SCV Adventure Play Foundation we strive to not only offer opportunities for self-directed play but to help and support other groups, organizations, and agencies as to support these opportunities as well. As awareness of the benefits of play in learning and in mental health expand, we want to be there to accelerate a shift in our overall cultural acceptance of self-directed play again. We are available to share the research, methods and histories already in place surrounding Adventure Playgrounds, Playwork, and Self-Directed Play to cultivate this movement.
